Without a doubt one of the most heavily hyped bands of 2008, Johnny Foreigner follow a similar format to other success story 'Los Campesinos' with male/female call back vocals over sprawling guitars and lots of noise but less twee. Essentially the is a lot going on here but the album some how is more infectious and downright more impressive then 'Hold On Now Youngster' by Los Campesinos, the main reason for this is down to the production choices made... whilst not bare it's certainly a lot less polished and more lo-fi then Campesinonses effort... with a hyper active attitude, clever lyrics and tonnes of depth this is easily one of the best album releases of the year & is easily one of the best debuts I have heard for a long long long time.

this is good stuff.
Hi, is there a way to re-up this? Everytime I try to download from mediafire it loads and then just sits there at 1% for a very (*very!*) long time. I've downloaded other things and it's worked just fine. It just seems to be this particular file.
it'll be up in a few
Thank you! I finally got mediafire to let me download it this evening. Oy. It hates me, apparently. Cheers.
