Bisc1 - When Electric Night Falls

Hip hop is a funny thing, most of it I believe is a pretty lack luster genre running out of ideas & especially in the mainstream lacks any creativity, edge, urgency or wit. This is where the underground can shine with Glitch Hop leading an ever increasing storm in the scene & it appeals to practically everyone, this however is not a glitch hop album... this is straight to the point smooth hip hop. The album is silky smooth with string arrangements, an element of street and just the general smooth feel which isn't for once is not terribly dull or cliche.

Lyrically this album is nothing SPECIAL but it's certainly not cringe worthy, Biscs flow is very nice giving these smooth street beats all the justice they deserve. This does sound like an album which could potentially leave a very large impression providing it gets the correct exposuer & whilst it defiantly will appeal to the underground crowd the is enough here to appease the mainstream, people who simply DON'T like hip hop like at all should probably give this one a skip since, as I said, this is a straight up hip hop record.
